The board is made up of dedicated community members who volunteer their time and leadership to ensure every event, program, and initiative runs smoothly. Each member brings unique experience, insight, and passion to the table, working together to plan, oversee, and improve the operations that serve our community. Their commitment helps create memorable experiences, support local traditions, and guide the organization toward continued growth and success.

JYEP is a nonprofit organization created to close the gap in programming available to youth in our area. Our mission is to support the physical and mental development of young people by partnering with after school and summer programs throughout the Jacksonville Illinois community.
With fifteen partnering agencies and nearly twenty five active programs, we expect to enroll more than two thousand youth each year. JYEP serves children and teens ages five to eighteen who live within the District 117 boundaries. Our support covers a wide range of activities including recreation, sports, community engagement, enrichment opportunities, music instruction, and more. Whether it is an outdoor event, an art class, or a teen night there is something for everyone.
Get involved today and help us make a lasting impact!
